New here, want to learn T5

Hi, I am new to this site. I've had a 1999 saab 9-3 for a year now. I have heard about upgrading the ECU to stage 1 and etc. I would love to get my car up to stage 1 or 2 within the next year. Is there any guide to help me learn how to do that without paying a website to do it for me. I took a glimpse at ecuproject and I have had no luck. Maybe I'm not trying hard enough. What type of software do would I need on my computer and etc?? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I just don't know where to start.

All the information is out there, it will take a lot of reading and figuring out. The t5 suite manual and t5 documentation are great resources. There should be loads of information on ecuproject as well. Youll have to create an account but it is well worth it.

I hate to be negative, but if you're having a hard time finding the information are you sure you want to mess with tuning the ecu in your car? you could end up damaging your engine very easily.
