I was tempted once, but I was told there's really not much point. The bhp will probably be within a few percent of the 185 quoted by Saab and really wouldn't tell me more than, "Yup. That's about right."

Better to save that run money for after you've done a couple of tweaks, as when you're trying to see whether that bad-ass new intercooler you're gonna get is really helping! Plus, if you do runs on the same dyno after you've done mods, you'll have apples and apples comparisons....

There is usually about a 15-18% loss of hp from the crank output due to the drivetrain. You are probably seeing about 154 hp +/- a couple at the wheels.

I did, sort of. My car is a 1999 9-3 HOT. It still uses a T-5 and should be a good start. Factory rated at 200 HP not 185 HP. Hope this helps
