Direzza DZ102 for $82/tire right now

Not sure how long it'll last, but people looking for a summer tire that'll fit under a 9-3. I used to run this size on mine.

There's a mail in rebate and a prepaid debit card or something, too!

Im not sure how much they changed on the DZ102, but I run the 225/45/17 DZ101 (now discontinued). I like the lip protection/guard and the tread pattern on the DZ101. They arent too noisy which is a plus. They do however seem to wear pretty fast but that may be due to the damn 9-5 rear suspension. I keep up with the alignments which help but they still get camber wear. I also do at least one "off rims" tire rotation putting the worn side on the outer side. I've got about 10k on them and am now starting to feel the scalloping vibration.

If the DZ102 hasnt changed much then its a decent tire, just wish it would last longer.

mike. what size tire do you run?
I run 235/40/18 on my 18x8 wheels. DTD has some dirt-cheap nankangs; Something like $70/tire shipped.

Thankful I only have to buy 1 tire this year, and it's a 17". I was impressed with the Conti DW's that came on my 02, but chewed up one pretty badly with about 3 degrees of negative camber in the rear The other side had been recently replaced due to a flat and shows very little wear, so I know only buying 1 new tire isn't recommended, but on a car that won't see too many summer miles any way I don't think it will be an issue.

Mike there are lots of reasons I wouldn't run 17's... I don't know how you guys do it.

OOOOOOOO, $94 for a 215/45/17. That is hard to say no to. I have so many items on my automotive spring to-do list that I can't quite justify the expense. Plus, my wheel and tire sets outnumber my vehicles 3:1, so...yeah, not happening.

Thanks for sharing the info though!
