Question Stainless steel 3 inch catback for 9-3 Aero V6 2.8t?

Greetings, fellow Saab Aficionados,

I just ordered a 3in DP and MP from GS. But I couldn't find a 3in stainless steel catback anywhere. In fact, the only stainless steel catbacks for the 2.8t V6 I could find are from BSR and Jetex and both are 2.5 inch.
Most likely there is no difference in power output but if it's available anywhere, why not go for 3 inch?

Help appreciated!

Cheers,
Felix

Why do you need 3"? I think even the Hirsch SS cat-back is not 3". Adding the 3" DP and MP makes the exhaust pretty loud, and I think if you were to go for 3" cat back it's going to be even louder.

Yea, that's what I meanwhile heard from Abbott racing as well. I have settled for a 2.75'' from the MP on backwards (DP, MP and 300 cell RT cat are 3''). The car will be heavily modded on the performance side (t19, big injectors, w/m inj., K&N filter, other spark plugs, ECU remapping of course) so this might be indeed a case where the stock catback steals a couple of horses.

exhaust diameter does not make a car loud, muffler choices does.

3inch systems are great, if you are going to get an exhaust, you might as well get one that gives the most peformance, also, in todays world you really dont need an SS system, alumized steel last 5-10 years. longer if your not in new england
