BSR stage 1 tune not performing

Hello fellow Saabers. I have a 2005 9-5 Aero with BSR stage 1 tune. It came with the car. I was curious to see what the performance difference was between the tune and original, so I switched it back to original and found no performance difference at all. Then tuned it again to find same. I contacted BSR and they advised it most probably be a mechanical issue with my car if there is no power gain with the tune on.

How would I best look into this. where could the fault be. The car drives fine. However I did actually notice that the original tune was a little bit more responsive and the boost needle actually went into the red sometimes, while when on tune I never really see the needle go inside the red (over boost)

I had the car for 2 years and thought this was how its surpose to be tuned until I switch back to original. The tune was installed in 2009, does time make a factor to the tune.

New plugs, vac lines etc. Or have a local tuner look at the file.

The only reason it took all day to install was because we couldn't keep our dicks out of each others mouths.

time factor doesnt change a thing, A tune should make a car quicker, if it doesnt, one of two things is present

- there is a mechanical error with the car
and/or
-the software is not setup correcty,

To get to the bottom of it it may not be a bad idea to get ahold of somebody who knows how to diag these issues, If i can help feel free to give me a call
