saab bottom end questions

Hello, I have been doing much reading here on SC luv the site, but now i need assistances with my own saabstory. I have come across a clean 9-5 with a blown engine but has been given a replacement almost for free, which has 150k miles on it but drove smooth before the body went to heaven. I would like to go with an upgrade while this transfer is in effect, something like a 19t which would be getting forged pistons.
Im curious to know if it is recommended to reuse bearings etc. If all was ok before teardown or a full block job is warranted. If I get the block honed what are recommended rings and where to source them, Or to minimize cost could I just drop in the std forged pistons with new oil pump kit since motor will be out anyway. I believe the donor motor was on a stg 3 as well, lightly driven so im not doing a new tune right away. Any tips greatly appreciated.

YOu can just hone slap the pistons in there and be done with it, I did that on my 2000 but I did it with the motor in the car. I woudl probably put in new bearings if I had pulled it
