Is there also an award for the highest comma to word ratio in one sentence?

Genuinesaab makes a high flow intake, cheap poly trans. mount, some cheap poly control arm bushings on ebay.

Maintenance first. PCV update, spark plugs, MAF, fuel filter.

This. x100

The 1999-2004 9-5 models have B235 engines that were susceptible to nasty sludging issues. Get the car up to Stage 0 before starting to think about performance upgrades. Legit nailed it: Make sure that a previous owner installed the latest PCV system.

If not, then you should remove the top valve cover and if you see solid globs of caked-on crud, then drop the pan to check for sludge. (Just be aware that the presence of crud at the top usually indicates a dirty bottom, but a clean top still might mean a dirty bottom end.) If you have some records and the car has had a history of turbo replacement, then consider dropping the pan.

And we'll help you out with all sorts of stuff -- from basic maintenance to tips on how to get 300+ HP cheaply -- but you can expect to get shit for poorly written posts. We can't help you unless we're clear on what you're asking.

First: General tune up
Second: Exhaust system (always BEFORE intakes and ECU's)
Then: Intakes and ECU's

Look into a slightly larger diameter Cat-Back system with a single free flowing muffler of glass pack.

exactly...

also the forum does have a search feature... 90% of what you are going to ask has already been answered multiple times and sometimes has been given a full DIY post.

this forum helped me with my first saab and im now on saab 4 because of it.

lots of knowledge and great help. you just have to help yourself first.
