gs poly trans mount '00 aero. pictures?

I just ordered a GS mount for my manual trans in my '00 9-5 aero. I'm not 100% sure I understand how to install it.

any chance any of you who have installed one have any pictures of how it went together?

please and thank you

Easy as pie, your fingers can remove the old one, and slide in the new one, cap it with the other part and tighten it down.

no wonder it didn't make sense to me. that's not the mount I need to replace lol. I thought it looked odd. I need to replace the mount that goes on top of the transmission. I guess GS doesn't have a replacement for that huh?

I wish GS made that mount too, although I'm sure it'd cost about $130 like the ng mounts.

Yea, I have the whole car torn apart for the clutch replacement. Figured I'd take care of all the little things while I'm in there.

I did the same thing as you did when I got that mount in the mail. Battery out, etc, etc... 'What the hell!'
'Oh, wait, haha, I'm an idiot'.

On another note, when my upper tranny mount was really about gone, I played with welding it together via straps of metal, first, then moved to 'plates' around the entire thing. It FELT awesome, although it did introduce a bit more 'shake'.

I ended up just buying a new mount from eeuro in the end. Try to weld it up and see how you like it!

I've been toying with the idea of making a solid mount out of the stock one. Way cheaper.
