i've had no problems with the t7 rods so far around 500hp

Stock B205 Rods. New style -01 up. 8900 Rev limit.

Long term durability may not be there but so far held far more dyno tuning and drag strip passes than expected. Sort of hard to shear the axles on the launch. RPM heads for the moon. Haven't decided if the super light flywheel helps or hurts in that situation.

Piston noise is mostly in setting the bore clearance when machining the block.

Not sure. We ran the old B204s a long time at high rpm. Never looked at the cap mating surface for fretting etc.
The earlier style with the studs instead of the fractured surface to keep the caps lined up might make the fasteners do more work. Small difference most likely. The weight of the pistons, rods combined with stroke and acceleration differences would make much more impact.
