Boost controllers and Blow off valves

I am a honda geek that has owned my 9-5 aero for two years and love everything about the car. However, I have an extra electronic boost controller that is just laying around (and what good is that!).

Can you install them on these cars and the ecu will compensate for the increase in boost or will these ecus not allow it to do its job? I am just used to cranking the dial on my integra when i "need" more power and would like to be able to do it on this as well.

Second question is i have a ridiculously loud blow off valve I wanted to toss on just to get some odd looks. its a non-recirculating style. Will it work if i block the recirculation tube off? On a budget and would like to jsut buy the forge motorsports one but if I can save the cash I would rather use parts I already have.

Seeing as your car has Trionic 7 engine management, you cannot and should not do either. Get a cheap stage 1 tune from Mike D and install an intake from genuinesaab.com.

I have the forge recirc, its a nice unit.

The only reason it took all day to install was because we couldn't keep our dicks out of each others mouths.

Good site. I think I will be investing in the stage 2 nordic as My exhaust is beginning to rust away anyways. Thanks for the input!

God, this was answered like two weeks ago, it's probably still on page one of the 9-5 forum.

I think you should go ahead and sit down considering some of the threads you made a while back.
