In my laciwel adapter i have the resistor. (i know its not needed for T7 in car applications but i also help other people who have T5 cars with this adapter sometimes..)

after a successfull flash i need to remove the battery pole to perform a ECU reset. (otherwise its not working and fans are just blowing)

I can also log now via the realtime window with some 3...5 fps.

2 years ago i would go for a broken headlight to the dealer ... so if you want to learn its all possible

some work done again

changed the rear door, had a big dent in the door...



installed a koni kit on the front of the car.
and these pics are before




I have powerflex in the front but there was still one missing:





new drop link and ball joint










stealth look :P


Then my new inlet manifold arrived!!!
so this is a combination of a T5 and a T7.


now the injectors will spray correct, (with the T7 injector placing they spray against the wall)


bars for the fuelrail


This is old T7 manifold and you see that placing of injectors is bad.


I heard that red intake manifolds improve the airflow!!!



injectors spray correct in chambers now


Fuelrail fits perfect and now 750cc go in


had a problem with the MAP sensor as it is different in 93 and 95 models. But the the voltage / pressure is the same according to WIS.



And then i got my windows tinted.



Next post will include pics from lower front and the windows

HAHA yes i was laughing about this dude

Well its not the heaviest because the pre 2000 95s are lighter
But yes i have a nice audio in the car (2x 12" subs, extra amps,,, you know..)
I just like the 95 how it looks, it looks fat and massive and yes its great to blast some gtis or some nissans on the highway.

No body suspects to be a saab so fast and comfortable at the same time

Ok,

I start with a big thanks to Roger Whiteman from www.serioussaab.co.uk

I installed a automatic dipping mirror that he shipped me.
had some hassle to figure out the wiring but in WIS it seems that it only need 12 volt.
so steel the red wire (pin5) and black wire (pin8 ) from the connector and connect it to the red/white and black wire in the center console. Please mind that this is an un-switched power. so dont drain your battery!
The mirror has a switch to switch it off so if the car will be more than a week without driving i have to remember to press the button :P (but that wont happen as i cannot miss her for that long )

ok
cut wires from mirror and extend them


cut wires from console (red/white and black)


connect them and place wires nicely


AND TESTING

first leave the sensor near the front window open


This makes a nice good picture (mind my windows are tinted)

Then put your finger on the sensor near the window. The mirror will turn greenish/black fast and you know it works.

As the summer has already ended in Finland i am planning to get the 95 in my garage and during the winter time fix a lot of little problems i have (some suspension and cable management stuff )
Then next spring a new HX40 will go in the car

To sad summers are so short here....

update after the too long winter, the car broke down (not even with the Holset in place )



is this really my car,,,


yip


towing, as i had no compression in the car


trying to find a way to test if the piston seals are ok,


removed oilpan and take them out,



OOPS! (warning dirty NSFW pics)




cleaned the valve seats, and new valve seals.



All of this was due to having a too rich mixture,

Holset installation:

i decided to go for the HX35super 12cm2 and not for the HX40super.

to fit the new intercooler, i removed the original IC and put the AC-core in its place.
Then it becomes possible to mount a 600x300x75 core just after the bumper.



2 metal bars are holding the IC and the oilcooler in place




same as red manifold,,, red air-filters have better airflow, Really!


making new manifold, and placing it for searching best position of wastegate.









(i will install my removable hook asap)







new rear exhaust hangers,


ready to fire up the 95!

A LOT OF NOISE,,,,

so everything out!


We found the problem fast, it seemed there was a 1cm leak in the new manifold.
difficult to see in picture but the welding seam in the left collector was not closed as it should be.
Fixing it was easy.

Look at the light which is entering the manifold. (difficult to see)


next try and all is fine

They have a website, and now also a jig for making this manifold. (should also fit 93)

temporarily fixed with tie-raps (of course red as they are stronger than black ones!)


As mentioned a couple of posts ago, i have problems with staying connected to the MTS chain in logworks. According to Innovate, it can have something to do with my old 400.000kms driven alternator. Its making some electrical disturbance and causes the MTS chain to get buggy.

They advised me to add a 4700uF 50V capacitor over the 12V.
I have a small rail in the car that i can use to connect devices to. And this has the Capacitor now. The wires that go to the Innovate MTX-L lambda meter and SSI-4 interface are max 30cm.






yellows are the groundings for the power and the channels.


The innovate MTX-L is not using the small 2.5mm plugs but these square connectors. With an cable (which i had to buy ) i can connect the MTX-L to the SSI-4




today i will continue the wiring, as i have to extend the T7ECU wires for the SSI-4. (first the it was on the passenger side, direct under the ECU.)

ps. i bought a couple of weeks ago some more saabs,


the light silver is for spare parts, the dark silver is an 2001 93 aero automatic that is my daily driver now. (love that car!)
