b234/235 hybrid what turbo should i use

Well got all the parts and machine work done on my 234/235 hybrid (T7 head 234 lower end)

Got everythigng all balanced up and ready to go back togehter

Just need the glass beading on the exhaust side, so now the question is what turbo to use.

It wil be a daily driver so I want soem spool dowm low and torque there as well, so what are my options?

Let me know what turbo would work best for that application and if/how I can bolt it up ( would I need a spacer or new manifold) and how much I need to change the downpipe from the stock turbo to fit it up.

It would be nice to get 400 WHP

I currently have 50# injectors, and will be using T7

Ok SO the HX 35 comes wi the T25 flange?, can i fit it in a 9-5 straight bolt up to the cobra, downpipe ( at least to the dp flange, we can weld and cut it to fit) will it squeeze in there with the fan/radiator in the stock locations, will I need to space it from the head???

Sorry for al the q's but I need to get an idea before I grab one and get into it. Just want to know what to look out for. I have not seen any 9-5s with the HX35

it bolts up to the manifold normal.

you need to redo the entire intake and the dp flange tho.

Well, a 19t on a regular b234 made 410whp and 388wtrq with JZW. I imagine that a T7 headed car with a 19t and a good tune would be interesting.

that is extremely hard to believe, as that turbo cant flow that much.

an 18t is a 300-310whp turbo, a 19t is not 100whp more.

yeah i didnt want to come right out and say it...but i figured the numbers would be wacky.

not that the 19t is a bad turbo, but it runs HOT egt wise, and unless it was a 6cm i would not run it.

i also think the hx35 would almost spool faster and be an easy 400whp turbo.

Holset not bolt on and I doubt that it would spool as fast. as a 19t I have hx35 on my car and while I don't have experiance with 19t I am betting it will spool 1k sooner then hx

I was just looking at Dallas dump on johns site, max tourqe at 3000 rpm hx is not at 20 psi till 3800, I can't imagine a 19t with a clip would spool slower then hx35 but could be wrong

Well I guess I'll be able to let you all know once I have the time to get mine together.

19t without the clip on the turbine and a Spec flywheel should be fun. Just a few other tid bits to piece together.

I currently have a T25 6cfm with T28 on both sides now on the 2.3 t7 seemed to flow a littel less that you would need for 300 it hit 290+ whp at 330 wtq

Got spool at 2500 with the Big T28 works fine but I wnat near 400 WHP if I can.

Loosk like a meed a header or spacer liek Nick T uses. I can get a narrow fan its just headers are a pain...

Thanks for the info

Sounds like Nahum may have some info if he gets around to the HX that will help, but I should be ready to get the turbo on soon...
