Just put boost guage in

have a question just installed boost guage yesterday spiced it in by my fpr. 2nd 3rd 4th and 5 th gear pulls i hit 20 psi then it goes to 15 and slowly back up to 17 18 psi is that normal i put a 3in downpipe and open air intake on too dono if that makes a difference.

Isn't stock max boost something around 14-15psi for a 9-5 Aero? Maybe it's capable of hitting the higher levels during the 20 second overboost, when the car can put out almost 280lbs/tq.

I actually hit 18 or 19 psi not quite 20 lol but should i just replace all the vaccum hoses and boost controller?
