Has anyone else's car been running really well lately?

Cause mine's a friggin rocket lately! Like holy shit fast, not just touching the red, but a millimeter or two into it. I guess catbacks really do something, cause that's the only change my car has seen.

My 9-5 Aero is running like a top. It really is just an awesome car. I was driving back from Burnsville the other day, coming up 35W, and I went to shift into fifth gear, and discovered that I was already in fifth gear doing about 85 mph.

My car likes to go fast.

Of course, it always has, so that's nothing new.

311,000 miles and ticking. my 9k is running minty right now, spark plugs are reading absolutley perfect, and boost 17psi like nothing. just put in new balljoints, so now it rides smooth as hell too, finally seems i got the front end all figured out.

now my only issue is that my timig cover is leaking oil a little and i need an alighnment since to go straight i have to turn the wheel about 15 degrees right.

My 9-3 is pulling pretty hard now as well, with a healthy AFR and ~18psi. Traction is a huge issue. As is the fact that my oil pressure gauge now reads below zero I think I might need to check the wiring on that, as an oil vacuum sounds rather unpleasant.

Not so good are the noises the transmission is starting to make :-/ And the amount of movement in the shifter between on and off throttle in 1st 2nd and 3rd :-/

Time to drive it nice for a while I suppose

The turbo is a shitload louder on the 9-3. It sounds like a full 3" intake.

When I actually get traction, my car is doing very well.

...the clutch is starting to slip though. Yay.

9000 hasn't moved since early November.

900 runs well aside from the typical electrical gremlin here or there.

Yep. All good here.

Drained the gaswater out of my V4 that has been parked for 6 months plus and aired up the one front tire with a slow leak. Runs great. Heater is a little deficient at 20f but hey.. not bad for a 72.

The 225k mile 9-5 SE 5-speed is simply a brilliant car. Zach was down visiting this weekend and was impressed by the improvement that the "Stage 0.5" Saab accessory Trionic kit gave the car. He said it rode better and was faster than his mom's 2001 9-5 5-speed 2.3t with half the miles. Thanks buddy

I pulled a Greg the other day and also went to shift to 5th at speed only to realize it was already there.

I am working on my next article for Nines which will compare an early build (6/9 9-5 to the 2008 offering. Some argue that running on the same platform for all these years was a bad idea, and yes, from a business standpoint it sure was. My appreciation for the engineering and simplicity of the car trumps that.

Mine is running pretty well lately.
Just a little lifter tick every once in a while, but whatever.

And yes, as carl says, the Saab accessory "tune" really is a big improvement over stock, but to me it still feels slow compared to the stage 4 box.
Definitely still quick enough to pull on a blue wrx the other night though

Car is stuck on jack stands in the garage until I can get new wheels for it. When it was on the road it ran like shit. It still only boosts to like 7psi. For no reason whatsoever. I hate my car. Unless I manage to somehow fix it with my new MAF, new turbo, new intercooler, and new piping, I'm not going to drive that thing again.

That sucks.
