My Aero is teh slow...

... but it may just feel that way cause my 2000 is so fast. But can anyone tell me should the stock turbo gauge ( I don't have one in the th 2000) ever boost into the red? It only hits the edge of the red on third WOT at 39* F. Just wondering if that sounds about right.

Stock boost gauges dont measure anything. You have to hook up an aftermarket to know.

Sounds normal for stock. Gauges will not go into the red unless manipulated with a tech 2.

i get into 'teh red' each and every time, on stock software.

Try disconnecting to battery for 15 minutes, then doing some adaptation runs in 3rd+ gear up a hill (essentially wide open throttle from 2000-3500rpm for more than 3 seconds). Then you might just get into the red my friend.

Was your, or is your, 200o the Garret turbo? They are quicker off the line for sure than the TD04 in your Aero.

Sounds exactly where it's supposed to be.

The aero is quicker off the line than GT25 28/28 in my 2000 since it is clipped and lags a bit then whhooompp, off it goes.

I guess I thought 2000 was only a tad quicker than the stock Aero, guess I was mistaken

I'll be happy to drive your aero and your 2000 to tell you.

But didn't you dyno your 2000 at 290whp or something like that? That's quite a bit more than an aero. I pulled 235whp and a lot of people say the dyno is wrong.

It is set at 18 lbs and 250whp now. 330 wtq but you have that freak of an aero....

My aero is like Captain America, it represents the peak physical condition of a 9-5 aero.
