Mitsubishi Td0418T #6

How does a Mitsubishi Td0418T #6 differ from my stock 2003 aero turbo? How is it modified? Thanks in advance.

Researching upgrades like many saabers suggested.

18t is a 3 trim larger wheel, and requires modification of the compressor housing to fit.

By quite a bit. There are two things that differ here. One the compressor wheel as has been mentioned already. The other is the #6 which refers to the smallest x-sectional area of the turbine housing. All Viggen/9-5 Aero TD04's are a #5 turbine housing which is smaller.

Hi,

If you do consider a TD04HL-18T, make sure you have the compressor housing shortened, to accomodate the "King cobra", which makes a world of a difference in terms of flow!

Best regards,

KK
