Lowering Springs for 99' 9-5?

Hey guys, just had a question about lowering a 99' 9-5. I just put the 17" 5 spoke new style aero rims on, with low profile tires, but now the gap between the tires and wheel well looks odd. Are there any known lowering springs out there that i could install without doing the whole suspension? Thanks.

Any of the spring choices CAN be installed without changing shocks/struts... but it really isn't recommended. Beyond ride comfort, you would be putting more wear on the stock shocks... and the rears are already pretty prone to failure. If you are looking for a good, cheap way to lower the car a bit and do so safely the Saab Roadholding Kit is the best bet. It contains larger front and rear anti-roll bars and a set of Aero springs and shocks. If you are looking to lower a lot though, this will only lower the car about 1/3"(10mm). It will definitely look much better than a stock LPT, but not quite as low as some(myself included) would like.

i really need to figure out how to get the fronts about 10mm lower, so that they match the back.

You could loosen the rears and move them up a little. But a lot of europes have less of a gap at the rears.

It's highly recommended to update the shocks as well when changing to lowering springs otherwise the car will handle like crap and bounce all over the place.
