Garage mates:
Finally, both cars clean, both cars wearing proper footwear. There is about 800hp between the two of them, likely 900 by years end.

Awesome. So, which one is your favorite to drive? I imagine the F30 is seeing the majority of the miles, but if you had to pick one to road trip in right now?

One is a DD, the other is pure fun. I actually try and split the miles equally, but it winds up being a 60/40 ratio due to weather.

I grin ear to ear when I goose the throttle of the Roadster under an overpass.

The DD is a very comfy car and has room for stuff and people.

So if it's just me and my wife and the weather is nice, it's Roadster all the way.

Interesting thought, I have never "goosed" a BMW and been totally happy with the acceleration. I need to drive a boosted BMW apparently. I can only imagine that thing in the twisties too or a track.

Anyway nice cars man. How do you feel about the F30's ride feel? I have heard a few complaints of it being "too rough", but I have no idea what suspension package they have and if they have ever driven an older 3'er.

Have not seen complaints like that, only the opposite that It is too soft.

It rides very nice and smooth, just a bit more body roll then I would want and a bit more than the E90 which it replaced.

Its going to get a rear sway bar and lowering springs so body roll will be remedied.

Proper pics of it lowered and newly added black grilles.

I think I am done with exterior mods. No front lips that will just get damaged, no wings, nope-think it's good. Only thing that is bothering me is I want clear front reflectors which no one seems to make yet.

This looks so much better, and no I do not want the painted ones as I find the seams/gap annoying.

Off topic, but this wonderful piece of BMW Ballertude is owned by a coworker:

2013 F10 M5 Alpine White, euro delivered. He has HRE wheels, carbon stuff and an Akrapovic exhaust. I learned today that he had the Bang and Olufsen sound system gutted in favor of some $25k worth of aftermarket stuff.

The only reason it took all day to install was because we couldn't keep our dicks out of each others mouths.

Bet it sounds beastly with that exhaust.
