So, I bought a Miata.

Picked this up Thursday night for $3100. Base model with 103k. Previous owner (woman prob mid 50's) has had it since 2000. Thus, 100% stock needing nothing. No winters, so it's very very clean. Newer top with a glass window and doesn't need to be zipped out to operate the top. I'm loving this thing already. Slow, but I don't even care.

Slow but fun. Nice to see an unmolested and cared for early Miata. Great find!!

Looks nice! What year is it? Seriously digging it in white, you don't see many white Miatas.

I like it, although I'm kinda a fan of the later Miata's (when they started calling them MX-5's and just before that) but I love the white!!

Plans for it?

Looks real clean, congrats. I love white cars, white on black interior is the best imho.

Plans for the car? Hope they include stretch, tuck, and poke.

Nice!! I never really liked miatas, then I friend of mine picked one up. 1993 w/ turbo conversion, lsd and a hard top. OMG that car is fun!!! Enjoy! They are the best handling cars for the money next to an mr2!

So cool. I thought long and hard about trading my then-newly acquired '88 900S one back in the day when they first came out.

Thanks for the compliments.

Plans, not really sure yet. Needs a roll bar and I want to make sure all the maintenance is up to date. Wheels/tires, go from there.

good purchase, you will enjoy how cheap parts are for them, lowering springs are 45$ shipped, thicker sway bars are 90-100 Shipped ect ect. Miatas are fun like that

LS1 Chevy V8 & 6 SPD Trans

Or, just boost the 1.8, they take Very well to boost for an Na motor.
