Listen, if you had something constructive to say, as in, "Well, that's crap but it's because you didn't use this product or that," that'd be one thing, Dave.

But, at least to me, it seems like you show up here everytime you want to rip someone's head off and shit down their throat. It's getting old. You don't want to end up with more homework, do you?

I love you too Dave, but you might want to pay someone to remove the swirls I saw on your paint last year at Carlisle before round two this year.

I do these writeups because I feel that someone may benefit from seeing how a certain set of products or process works and may take a lot of the guess work out of getting great results detailing. I am trying to pass on the knowledge and experience I have gained along the way in my detailing journey because having the information on which products work well and how you would go about using them to their fullest is something I would like to have if I am learning about car care.

In the end, it is not about posting another car that has been detailed. It is done with the intent that it may be helpful to someone at some point and would give them an advantage I wish I had when I started; knowledge is power.

True, but you're not doing either one. You're just being a wanker.

Did someone put a gun to your head and force you to read this thread? Were they going to chop the fingers off your fork hand if you didn't reply? Seriously, I can't see any other reason why you posted in his thread.

My mom taught me a long time that if you don't have anything nice to say, shut the fuck up.

And this piece of advice came from my dad, and Dave you would do well to repeat this to yourself every time you come online.

It's better to remain silent and be thought a fool then to open your mouth(keyboard)and remove all doubt.

Looks good, Christian! You should look at some of the pictures of my car on my facebook and see how bad my car looks. I feel like nothing short of a paint job will take care of it.

Never ever give up on the paint and think it needs a new paint job. It is truely amazing how much of an improvement you can make to paint that was considered unsalvageable if you have a buffer and the right polishes. I remember on of my first polishing details was on a truely hammered 1989 Subaru Legacy that the lady thought needed a repaint but figured I would be the last ditch attempt to save it. Well, she didn't need a repaint after all with a days worth of work.

On that note, I would happily take a few swirls if my car was as fast as yours haha.

Come out to VB, VA and go over my 9-3 please once the time limit on no waxing is up on the new paint. The other areas need somebody who actually knows what they are doing.

Just remember; for the amount of money you would pay someone to work on your car one time, you can easily buy a nice buffer, some pads, and some polish which you can use over and over again. Trust me, it pays for itself in the long run.

Thats for sure, the owner of this Porsche is planning on getting a custom exhaust built for it which I personally cannot wait for. It is definately not the same as the air cooled cars, but I wouldn't turn one down if you gave it to me!

Meh, sometimes I wonder.. my dad has some kinda buffer but don't know too much about it or about buffing. I really would like to spend sometime to pretty the car up.

Don't be apprehensive because the longer you wait to start using a buffer, the more you will kick yourself for not doing it sooner. It is so easy and nets you great results which you would never be able to achieve by hand.
