Nice pics.

I just moved from a Nikon p80 to a Nikon D70

the p80 takes almost equally good shots as the DSLR(noise being the exception), but the DSLR is just easier to use.

All the pics in my sig were taken with the p80 with the exception of the middle, which was an even cheaper Sony DSC-S650

Nice, I like the first one. Looks sort of like a flying insect. Hope you don't mind if I throw in a few, camera is a PowerShot SD1000. The city pics were all taken from a 33rd floor apartment overlooking columbus circle in NYC. Kinda blurry without a tripod, but they came out cool.

We gave my grandfather a similar camera for xmas, and, being a pimp craftsman (seriously one of the best around) a month later he shows up having built an apparatus to hook it up to his $2000 spotting scope that zooms 20-60x. He got a PVC pipe fitting and bored it out and painted it black, one end fits perfectly over the scope, the camera lens slides into the other end (which is lined with felt). He then built a stained cherry frame that slides over one side of the camera (and is also felt lined), which enables him to use a braided stainless remote shutter cord to minimize vibration. He even turned the fitting on the wood that the shutter cord screws into on a lathe out of a piece of aluminum rod. He threaded the outside and crosshatched the top to make it easier to screw in, and tapped the middle for the one end of the cord to screw into. Thing is perfect down to every detail, it should be in a museum lol.

reminds me of the roger waters concert I went to. They wouldn't you in with a real camera so I had to use my cell phone, but was way far back. But I had my trusty binoculars with me...and got some decent shots.

Indeed. Check this out. An artist from New York currently living in Berlin used Legos to tell the story of the city he misses.

I think he's saying that the Sunday Times is bigger than the Staten Island Ferry--subtle (and probably inside) joke.
