Depending if that GT25XXX bolts up or not, having your td04 rebuilt as something bigger or sourcing a T25 off nother Saab and getting that rebuilt as a T28 would probably result in the same or more power with less headache.
Just a thought.

Garrett's numbering is confusing but this will help: Turbos, Turbo Selection 101
I'd bet it has the same overall performance as the GT2560R but spools slightly slower. Products | Turbochargers

Need help finding info on a turbo
im at work and realized i might be able to buy a core turbo off of my job and have it rebuilt...there is one thats under my desk from an 5.2L isuzu. i did some research and got a model number but that was as much as i was able to find. its a garrett 700716-0018 which comes up as a GT2560S. ever time i went to search for that the only thing i got to pop up was GT2560R or GT28R. any info found on this turbo is greatly appreciated.
