|SOAB||Hope yall don't mind me bumping this but if one side of the tracks is bent about 90 degrees is that something I could take out of the car and straighten or is that a lost cause?|

|bergie||yeah stock up on the green rollers and clean & re-grease them so there not noisy and sound like there rolling on sandpaper.. ALSO take a look at the seals around the glass. If the glass panel is not seated right in its rubber sliders seals or not put back in properly you will get water and eventual ice build up if its cold enough. this is mostly what kills your rollers, which is your problem.|

|srp||Takes a decent amount of pressure to seat the new rollers as well. I used channel locks and it felt like i was going to break them until they seated.|

The rollers tend to be like headlights and taillights. They usually fail fairly close to each other.

Off track and a broken roller.
One of the little green rollers is probably broken or popped off the arm. You'll need to take the door card off and figure out if the roller is intact, or if you need another one.

Saab 9-5 window off track?
Wrong part of forum, oops.. can a mod please move this to old 9-5 problems section?
When I roll down the passenger side window it seems that it comes forward and does not stay in the normal downward motion. Off its track or broken roller? I havent rolled all the way down, just as far as in the pic because it comes forward pretty far. Its like only the front is going down. See pics and thanks for any advice. 1999 9-5
