Reason for posting question is the MAPTUN site http://www.maptun.com/
They reference 9-3 convertible as SS/SC -- not sure why.

Purchased it (CV)- very hot looking and in great shape and yes 210HP (needs tuning to upper stages...

Saabs don't have a CVT.

A "CV" would be a convertible. In 2004 there wasn't a wagon or Sport Combi (could be SC). I think the first year for those was 2006.

You'll also hear Linear, ARC and Aero.

Linear is a Base - This car will have slightly less HP -- 195, and will not have a screen in the radio.

ARC is the middle of the road, it will have a screen in the radio, and the 210HP engine.

Aero in 2004 would have the 210 hp 4-Cylinder engine, and a bunch of cool ground effects, as well as more options.

Depending on the year sometimes these options are varied... These are the usual combinations.

Question:
When looking up info for 9-3's I come across the terms SS, SC, CV & 5D (assuming 5 doors). What exactly do these acronyms mean? It would help since I plan to tune my new car to upper stage.
