If possible, get the intake and throttle body WITH the 04 engine. Biggest change in the pcv system is the huge port in the 04+ throttle body (which draws directly from the oil trap instead of the tiny vacuum hose from the valve cover). Using the older pcv system negates the benefits of using a 04+ engine just my .02 |

Jsut conect the PVC as it is in an 00, same hoses, jsut attach differently. The older manifold the newr sensors do not have the correct screw holes, but you can cut and slice the wire colrs are the same |

Awesome, that sounds very easy. But what about the PCV system. I thought the newer engine had some additional pipe into the block. And for the rewire, do I just splice the wires into the newer plugs? do they all match up or what ? Thanks |

jssaab | Easy Peasy, either use the older manifold ( intake) , and charge air pipe with your sensors or if you get the newer engine with throtle body and charge air pipe, use that and rewire all the sensors |

04 engine in 00 saab Hey all, Is it possible to put the 04-07 engine in an 00 aero? I know the pcv system changed, but just curious if anyone has a more info on this. Thanks Mike |
