Slow Joe Holy old thread... However I never responded... Even though I'm also ready for the Saab-pocalypse...

Lately I've been interested in the Buick Regal GS, Jaguar XF, Volvo S60, and last but not least the 5-Series. Who knows what I'd really get next though. I have a Fusion for a company car and love that, and prior to being a Saab owner I was a Ford guy.

N.A.S Story if all saabs were to disappear off the face of the earth and there where only images of what the brand once was i would probably begin to build a home build kit version of the car in a full tube chassis build so that my future kids wouldn't have to go their entire lives not knowing what a saab basically was from hearing stories from me....but if i had to find another car to drive it would probably be a stick shift 850 turbo brick.

mickeym My daily is a 530 xi wagon

Will probably replace my 9-3 convertible with a 330 or 335 convertible at some point..

plasticfoodwrap I would go with a miata, oh sorry I got one of those. truth there is not really a new car that I would want. So I think I would go with a real mini not a BMW or a bus ticket.

You must have deep pockets

If some @55hole wrecked my 99 today, I know I would never find one in similar condition, so I would be forced to think outside the SAAB box (I like c900s but they are too common/troublesome)

I only drive European cars, so, given my very limited budget, I would go looking for one of these:

SPGreg Guess I'm stockpiling c900s as well. But I'd probably look for an older Porsche 911 or maybe a BMW 850i.

DeLorean Probably a Turbo Subaru or an Audi S4 - if I had to buy new. CTS-V wagon, but I'm not sure I could bring myself to buy a GM car. Nissan GT-R if I had more money than I do and less need for space in the car.

snowsaab I'd probably end up in a BMW 3-Series.

SPGreg No Saabs? This is foolish talk.*
