x-post reply... Just a quick follow-up. I got my strut assembly Today. $50 From a junkyard in Maine. I said to him: "all I need is the strut housing, you can keep everything else." when I go to pick up the "box" it Weighs about 40# Turns out I got the strut assembly, rotor, ABS sensor, spring, strut insert and strut-mount. all for $50. Seems like junkyards are a hit-or-miss with me. They either screw me out of what I want, or send me WAY more than what I need. Anyways... looks like I might end up doing this side on my own....it's just going to be a transfer of parts from one assembly to another, and then re-install won't require a compressor because of the lowering springs. hoooorah |

yea i dont think it would matter. the housings are all the same, I am pretty sure its just the spring and strut which were different, and since your using other springs and shocks it doesnt matter. and where is my gas card ![]() |

different paint on strut assembly? for my year there's about 6 different marked strut housings. My assumption is that the different markings are all related to spring setups. I got a plain white-marked strut assembly for the SE, since I'm using my own aftermarket spring/strut. Please tell me I'm "okay" w/ this... |
