Marks9-3 I had my trans out at the time I put these in. I know most people will not, but it is stupid simple from under the car.

VWSAABVT You didn't need to remove your tie rods. You can just unbolt the rods from the rack and squeeze the old and new bushings in and out with a pair of pliers.

gdc oh man that was easy , fifteen mm socket and breaker bar , too loosen bolts , remove one bolt at a time , used a screw driver to pop off locking tab , i then took out to tie rod by, made sure i marked the tie rod to you know how far to screw it back in , used a press and the old bushing came out easy, screwed tie rod back in tightened it with a 13mm wrench move the wheel to get the steering rod to line up , and tight again , old ones out new ones in less than 45 minutes barely broke a sweat , although might be tough for those who are shorter than i am 6 ft 1 , because it is a bit of stretch , other than that , easy peasy lemon squeezey mate

poly steering rod bushing install

anybody got any tips for putting the steering rod bushings in or taking old ones out , i changed the rest of the suspension bushings with the GS kit but have yet to tackle these, doesnt look to difficult but , sometimes looks can be deceiving
