|SPG-GASM||STOP! You're problem is too much pressure in the crank case. Check you're Pcv valve for correction operation. The biggest problem with this oil leak has been caused by the brake booster diaphragm leaking, also causing excess pressure in the crank case.|

re torque your headstuds, and then read the article this month in NINES about oil leaks unexplained oil leaks and blowby.

|ataririder||Ok, I'm bring this back up because I replaced the oil pump,crank and timing chain tensioner seal and didn't have for like 2 weeks and now its back again. Exactly the same spot. I took off the crank pulley and it was completly dry, but there is oil right unnderneith it. Now I'm thinking its the oil pan. Any ideas?|

That's classic "front main seal" otherwise known as oil pump seal and o ring oil splatter. It leaks out behind the crank pully and gets flung around and up.

Strange Oil Leak
I recently did the short belt mod when my idle pulley went and stranded me on the rode. At first I thought the oil was comming from the crank pulley seal but the oil leak starts around the spring-loaded idle pulley. Its not comming from the valve cover or the PCV. Here are some picks on whats its doing. Any ideas?
