secret ingredient | That's cool as shit. I've only ever seen one 99 Turbo in person, and it was in mint condition. I think that one is in FL now.

No excuse necessary to come to Vt in the summer![]() |

aireeca | Oh yeah, there would be no paying full asking price for those. However, I've been looking for an excuse to pop up to Vermont this summer and that's the best one I've come across yet.

seriks1 | Those seats should be direct fit. They've been on cl off and on for the past year, not sure if there's been a lack of interest or seller is firm on the price (which is kinda steep IMO)

We were thinking about hosting a BBQ at some point this summer. We should probably get back onto planning something like that... |

Pine tar, and yep. It's all over it. I got this $8.00 spray thing from the walmart, and that actually seems to work. Slowly. but it is coming off, and the paint is very nice under it. It does have some surface rust here and there - typical 99 old paint related issues. I'm sure they started as little nicks here and there and bubbled with surface rust a bit I'm tempted to do some touch up's to the spots, however the car has a fairly nice "patina" as it is and I don't really want to F with the original paint. I'll get some good detail pics tomorrow. Also, have it up on the lift now, Solid as a rock. |

I had to do my dad's old Opel GT when I first picked it up, and my buddy stopped by with his Comm Ed last week with a couple spots. Worked like a charm in both cases. |

Tweek's Turbos | On your way back from Ohio did you stop at Potato City? That was a great place for food.*

Paul H shot a few just as we were off loading the truck. The white crap is pine sap, need to get that off of there... Only significant rust is on the hatch, which I have another one of from a 78 99-t in the same color... |
