Hey, super nice project!
Some questions & tips:
1. Replace the subframe bushings while it's out! it's a must-do-- it'll rip out soon otherwise. If you have a welder, it won't be a bad idea to make some weld-on subframe braces.
2. I am sure you've done this, but replace the oil pickup / delivery pipe o-rings as they will get brittle and leak out oil
3. Check your stiffness of the koni shocks for all four. Mine was severely unmatched between the struts. Also
1. For the F35 gearbox, what preload are you going to set for the pinion nut / crush sleeve? this is the part that deters me the most from doing a LSD.
Also, was it difficult to split the gearbox? was the sealing agent similar to normal anaerobic sealant or was it actually adhesive (?) enough to bond two surfaces together?
Any tips in the LSD installation would be sincerely appreciated!

on the oil return tube all i can think of is to find one off a junk car idk what years they had those style tubes unless its not car specific. when i look on eeuroparts for the oem set up that you can buy it comes up with a dif style set up.
the standing revs are actually a bit longer but not bad.

|pete93t||i couldnt tell you what the clutch is like without the lightweight flywheel i would assume it would be a little rougher. the set up i have with the spec clutch, pressure plate and flywheel is great it is very easy to manage and city driving i is nearly stock. overall the car is much smother and revs are unglodly fast. i threw the stock flywheel on the scale and i got 22lbs. the spec weighed 10.5 lbs. it is aluminum but the removable center plate is a high grade steel or stainless.|

|Trollhättan Bil||There would be a lot of tire squealing until you managed to get use to it.|

|ibiggers||That looks like the SPEC flywheel, if I am not mistaken. I don't know how the SPEC would feel for street driving with the clutch because of the weight reduction.|

IS that a billet aluminum flywheel? I may jsut keep the lightened stock flywheel.

|pete93t||yeah i love the clutch. only prob i have is the motor flexing i think a motor mount is junk. i wish they made some more poly mounts for the 9-5|

|Matt D||So glad to hear you like the clutch and flywheel! Very nice build- post any updates|

|cking1975||That clutch is too pretty to be hidden inside a transmission !|

|pete93t||thank you sir. im still learning slowly had to do the manifold a few times to get it just right i still need to get the base boost down a bit in the wastgate i ordered a 6psi spring it has a 9 in it now its a bit to much but it runs great considering. im gonna put it on the dyno once more before i go with the holset just for shits|

|stromer||That's a nice little update there. Nice work.|

its still just the TD04 im gonna run a hx35 with 750cc injectors in a few months. the wastegate set up is really easy actually as long as you grind down the manifold good it will bond just fine to the cast manny. you just need to drill out a good size hole near the turbo flange ill update the pics on the wastegate tomorrow. that was the old placement. i went with the stainless lines ect so when it comes time to do the holset it will be much easier to install.
and the flywheel and clutch is great so far. im still in the break in period but it drives and grabs just fine and theres a huge dif in acceleration and revs its a good combo

Interesting build, more info on the wastegate and turbo set-up please ( green giants with what turbo?)
Also let me know what you think of the spec alum fly and 6 puck set up...

few add ons in the last few months :)
a lot of the stuff added was from the last few months some was from last year. had to move the wastegate flange to the side closer to the turbo. it wasnt getting enough relief up top. its a tight fit but still works good with a stock manifold for now. nice dump tube running under near the passenger side for people half awake with there windows down
