SaabISH9_5 | I have the Falken Ziex 512's on my 9-5 and they're awesome in the dry and the wet and even the snow. Kick ass tires, especially for 80 bucks a piece.

Thats wierd. I have had the same Neros on two cars now and replaced the Kumhos on the Vig with them. There dry holding is far superior. I have only heard good things from other people and from my tire shop that deals with mainly euro/sports/luxury cars. Also in the snow last year when i saw SUVs getting stuck I was blazin right through even in inches of unplowed/unsalted snow. Take a look at their ratings on tire rack and compare to Kumho Supras. 9 out of 10 like the Nero, guess you are the 10th guy :P |

rcmdesign | I have the Pirelli PNero Zero All Seasons, and they are horrible on dry ground and in the snow lol. I used to have Kumho Ecsta Supras and they are much better for handling corners, I feel like the car is going to slide out of each turn with the damn Pirellis...Just my two cents...

![]() Love my Toyo Proxes 4's. Sidewalls are a bit soft, but then again, I'm taking highway offramp loops at 65mph, so I think any tire would be soft by then. Seriously. |

I like those Yokos a lot...Those look to be the updated, improved followup to the A550, which are on my wife's 900SE now. They've been excellent three-season tires and have had GREAT tread life. They've been on for three years and still have at least another season left... I'll definitely consider replacing them with these new AVS ones. For my car, I'm using the BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW2, probably the dumbest name I've ever seen for a tire but they grip like a drowning man on the side of a lifeboat. Top-rated on TireRack but available for way, way less at Costco... ![]() |

Thanks for the tips!! It was a tossup between the pirelli p-zero neros and the yokos. I went with the yokos... I did check out a few of the tires you guys suggested, but kept coming back the these two. It was some kind of japaneese rubber loyalty I guess. I run panaracers on all my bikes, and I have had good luck with yokohamas in the past....so. I would love to have two sets of wheels and tires, but the wallet will not allow it. Maybe when I get a "real" job...... |

yeah the Hankooks are nice, they seem to be comign out with all sorts of nice cheap new tires, i had a set of the RS-2's over the summer, and they only lasted like 15k, but they were pretty amazing, and thats all you can really expect for mileage on auto-x tires like those anyway. Paul |

Jameson | I really like the Pirelli P-Zero Nero so I am buying a 2nd set on the Vig. I also had Pole Position S03's, they were rather sticky but dont last long and are a summer only tire. The Neros dry traction isnt far off and lasts much longer as it is rated at like 400 vs maybe 220 for the S03.

Hankook all the way - GREAT tires - wide selection and fair prices for the overall performance needs for daily driving. Another Great tire - priced a few dollars more then Kumho's are Continentals. These were a tire I started buying recently and have had no problems with and they even work well in snow. (All Season's) Also - BFGoodrich - cost more - but you get a great tire. |
