Yes - if you run E85 it will burn faster thus bringing the MPG number down - but if you run standard fuel in the E85 bio-tuned car it will be normal.

The E85 is a give and take - result is a wash really. You pay less for the fuel, but it burns faster - so in the end if you do the math - it's almost like getting high test performance for low test costs... makes any sense? It's biggest gain I see - cleaner burning and greener for the enviroment. Aside from that - unless you have a full built race application, it's just another fuel to pump and screw ppl and their cars up lol

I have the E85 Bio-Tune in our 9-5 and it runs nice on it - like a Stage 1.5 tune over the stock ECU. Plus you get the nice SID controls to monitor your engine data in swedish short hand...

cking1975 Yeah I already ordered the upgraded fuel pump motor...I am so thankful you dont have to drop the gas tank on the 9-5 ...I was just wondering if it had a purpose in tuning...more for the E85 tuning side than the standard fuel...seems as if HO fuel system is in order to maximize the E85 fuels potential...anyone know if there is a MPG loss with E85 ? Seems like it would be a faster buring fuel...

Castor Troy i see no point. but ok

Raven18940 I see little point to having one. The injectors are designed for specific pressure ratios and if you exceed them you pulse widths become unreliable. And stepping up to 3.5 bar of pressure really doesn't net you that much more flow.

If you want more fuel, the best route is bigger injectors and don't forget the fuel pump while you're at it.

cking1975 I think I met you at Swedish Car Days...or maybe not??? I was looking at that one...I really wish the E85 fuel was not 25 miles from my house...grrrr

GenuineSaab I have adjustable drop in factory style regulators. http://www.genuinesaab.com/catalog/p...roducts_id=517
Not a point really but they are there. I have used them for quick dyno development before.

Custom FPR anyone ???

Anyone running a custom adjustable FPR...I was thinking this would give me more flexibility for the future tuning...would love to see some photos and a parts list for the fuel lines etc...
