VAGGEN | Did it this weekend. I took off the kick panel (sorry tel) and had everything wrapped up in 20 minutes. The kick panel was the hardest part! I posted some pictures on my cardomain site. |

hell you don't even need to take of a kick pannel. just take a flat screw driver. CAREFULLY and pop it out. the whole process should take you one min. start to finish, or you can no longer call yourself a car guy. ![]() |

Really easy - 1)Remove the two kick panels on either side of the center console (they're held on by torx screws - 2 on the left, 3(?) on the right including one inside the glovebox). after you take out the screws, push the panels toward the firewall to ge them out. 2) reach inside the center console and push on the ACC unit from the back. It should pop out rather easily. 3) Disconnect the wire pack from the back, and connect it to the new unit. 4)reverse steps 1 & 2 Done! |

Automatic Climate Control Hey- I just bought an ACC to replace the one in my car that no longer lights up. The original doesn't so much as show me one bar of the fan setting. The LED is completely dead. So it's time for it to go. Question is, does anyone here know how to remove one and install another? If somebody does I could use a tutorial! ![]() Any and all help is greatly appreciated! |
