coreyeroc thanks for the info - and actually, after replacing both sets of batteries
($20!!! ), I realized that the alarm isnt working either way - its weird, Ive never had a problem with it - though I had to keep holding the fob closer and closer to the center of the windshield to get it to go on/off - so I thought the batteries were just dying out - I guess my alarm just isnt working at all right now. Gonn start looking for a bad fuse... and crap, I hope thats all it is. Since my manual is buried at home (just moved), anyone care to tell me if the alarm does have a fuse, and where its located - so I can take a look while im here at work??

nowhereman always make sure you have 2 working remotes as well. with the NG900s the alarm is unique in that it is very theft proof.

basically when you lock the car and set the alarm it disables the starter etc. the only way to re-enable the starter is to disarm the alarm. The only way to do that is to use a key fob. when i say only way i mean only way short of replace the whole twice (i think that is what it is called) system. I found this out the almost hard way (lost the one remote i had and couldn't do anything till i found it). it is very secure but not good if you only have one key fob and happen to lose it drop/break it etc after arming the alarm.

just an FYI

Alright damnit..

I've searched multiple ways - all I can find is a bunch of useless threads on peoples bananas.. yes.. bananas.

Please just answer this for me. I have a 95 NG900. My battery in the remote has died (in both key fobs). Can someone PLEASE tell me what battery I need?? I dont think i have the 'banana' remote like ya'll 9-5, 9-3 owners do. Just the normal two button (not conjoined rubber button) remote. Please help, I have no banana.
