rafal Erich, I guess only you and me are not serious in this topic ;/

Sab, we are joking. Obviously there are no automatic Viggens, nor Viggens with a 6speed, while they made them only with 5 gears, just like all ng900/og9-3.

No Viggen in Sweden/Scandinavia came standard with a 6-speed either. They were all 5 speed manuals.

A bloke over there did retrofit a 6 speed (from the 9-3SS Aero) into his 9-3 Aero convertible. Is that what you were thinking of?

Just clearing up a few misnomers!

Here is the car in question. I met the guy when I was in Trollhättan for the 60 years festival. Quite a big task to make it work he said.

Yeah I have the black leather with turbo inprint.

So I could call my car an Aero then?

We sold a ton of Viggen Bodied 2003's CV's in Baltimore. Very Popular that year, and all most all of those were 2.0 Auto's. The car didn't work Very well With Viggen Sized wheels and the Soft Squishy CV Suspension.

9-3sleeper pop the hoods of these auto viggens.. I want to see the valve cover
05-10-2009 07:35 PM
sab Nope we didn't… all Viggens here were only available in manual (same as Europe).

You are thinking of the 9-3 Aero, which is what I have. They came with an auto option, and use the 2.0 litre HOT T7 engine. They also had Viggen kit as standard as we never got the Viggen here in 2001 and 2002... only 1999 and 2000. Reason was the $$$$$ cost of them!

Mine is a 2002 9-3 Aero manual coupe
