First Year Saabs always suck more.... new things for the first time = test cars ![]() Aero 2.8 = Hope it's got a warranty - ick to work on, sucks when they break, more GM and worst of all - poorly tempered timing chains... Get an 07' 6 Speed Manual 4 cyl. - best option - best looking - best fuel economy Also in 07' it got the nicer GM radio/stereo's and no more stupid Fiber Optics... yay, one less headache. |

I ended up getting a 2007 28L. I ended up getting a 2007 28L. Wow what a total difference the 07 is from the 06. It appears to have more power. Also mush better laid out. The stereo sounds way better and the seats are more comfortable. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Fame | I would go with an 06. That new dash and moving the SID, I don't like. Painting door handles, I don't like- |

dan-the-kid | Also in 07 the door handles got painted, and the whole audio system was changed up. Even the electronics. |

Correct, 07 was when the entire dash face and related components got a major change. |

I could be wrong but. In 07 they got rid of the SID, and moved it to under the speedo. |

Dash fascia interior wise if you can find an 06 9-3 with navigation I prefer them. However 07 has that GMified dash fascia which the ac controls are all right but a better standard radio could have been used. If you can swing an 08. Check out my thread in the for sale section on some of the finds I scoped. 2008 9-3 aero sedan for 26k brand new and a 2008 9-3 aero kombi with 123 miles for 30k. Both were fully loaded 2.8 V6 6spd manual with nav. |

PoisonBeef | I would say test drive both and then decide with price vs. miles vs. other stuff.... |

IIRC they did an interior upgrade for '07 that made it quieter and supposedly solved the squeek and rattle issues in the '03-'06 models. A lot of the work they did on the Cadillac BLS also went into the '07 9-3's. I would definitely say 07 > 06. |

Any pros or Cons from 2006 to 2007? I got my eye on a 2006 2.8 Aero. However there is a 2007 available that just came it. Any pros or Cons from 2006 to 2007? |
