t5 also adapts all the time, but it will happen faster if you re-set the ecu. I am not sure about t7, but t5 seems to take a good 100 miles to really get adapted. John |

mcrowley | Yeah, you won't notice how loud it is till you either get a ticket for it or let someone else drive your car.

Lots of variables to consider but when mine was stock it would go right up against the next break in color(the black line). That means nothing as you can even change that with a Tech-2, so yeah a real boost gauge tells more of the story. |

ViggenStory | saabkid37 i got the same speakers as you but the blue box. and i installed it exactly like how u did, where you just break off the sides of the speaker holder. it fits perfectly and sounds great.

Elmo | adaptation? does this mean the T7 adjusts to the mods on its own? is that without any kind of tune? either way, that's incredible. T7 just keeps impressing.

well i think the pipe will be alright, i think i never noticed how loud the saabsport really was, and now its just a little louder because its faster over all... its boosting nicely. (today before it was 90% humidity and and 90 degrees aka 76 degrees and dry.) ![]() |

GenuineSaab | No need to pull the fuse.. Adaption happens continuously during driving.. About the only time you need to is after changing a bad component like the AMM.

Jameson | I think I used 1200 degree and mine has never bubbled after 2 years.

mcrowley | Did you remember to put the big o-ring on the new pipe before you installed it?

eh, my cars has never been 100% power wise. it was slow as balls on the stock ic, then got way better with the ets. seems a little slower now with the pipe, but the boost is a tad lower, which is understandable so ill see what adapting does...plus i agree with what nick said on sc, that the pipe may not be seated 100 straight which is causing the backfires and some extra intake noise. |

yes its a shit ton louder, and now spins in first quite easily...think its not sealed tho, getting tons of extra backfires. |

I find there is a slight noise increase as the larger diameter pipe amplifies sound a bit. Its nothing like adding an intake to a stock car though which is NOT a power modification in comparison to the pipe which IS. I noticed slightly quicker spool and better response overall. |

Red DIC | The intake pipe isn't for sound.
