Its been forever since I was SC and even looked up any info over there. I just remember seeing this over there. Can't remember who posted the info up though.

|GenuineSaab||There is a standalone box that will do something similar but with the addition of logging.. Not sure I can post the video yet though. Looks really nice assuming you have a good sid display.|

Ok this popped up on SC a while ago. From what I remember seeing its T7 only and has to be unlocked in the ECU (i.e. during tuning). Apparently during T7's development it was a way for the engineering guys to get real time data to adapt parameters on the go.

you have to have a computer in the car interpreting the CAN signals and telling the sid what to do.
If someone could build a microprocessor that just does this, they might sell.
