Elmo ooh... steel grey to match my vig too!

viggenkid, do you have a 2 or 4 door?

viggenkid So nick what are the options for powder coating? what colors can you do? will it cost more to do a special order? or just take longer?

Ideally I'd like it to be Steel Grey to match the body paint.

oldzmann any updates on this bar and availability?
07-07-2008 06:37 PM
NahumCC Nick would there be any way to get the old style squid bar with any of the updates you've found necessary for better mounting or rigidity? I don't care if I have to remove it to do some work on the motor as thats not a big deal to me. I also liked how the older one looked too..........I know thats not such a big deal but I liked it.

perkj Not sure I get your point....for the most part the design is the same between the two with the exception of the triangle bar. My suggestion is to add that to the older dual bar design and it will be stouter than the new single bar you have pictured

Also, is it solid or tubular? In either case, what material?
07-07-2008 10:16 AM
GenuineSaab You need to analyze how the front end defects under different loads then you will understand.

I'd rather a nice stout bar thats really going to do something vs something that makes working on the engine easier. You can take the bar off in 10 mins, so I won't put too much focus on trying not to clutter the bay.

^ good point... hmmm.

GenuineSaab That is my trionic5'd -95 900 2.3 Non turbo. I have not dug up a plug and seal for the head See the prototype header, and the map sensor on the strut brace, no MAF either.

The lower leg goes down to the frame. Through an existing hole and further triangulates the frontend.
