Logan Leslie If you don't like em all the more reason not to go back. There has to be more then one parts store where you live.

danthegolfer yeh i understand but i mean they werent even cleanign up or anything yet, they were just sitting in there talking......argh

Logan Leslie Dan, if they were having a slow night I can understand them closing a tad early... I doubt they'll have a Haynes anyway, especially for your car (don't know, things might be different on the east coast) Just order one online and don't deal with advance anymore...

danthegolfer just to another to add to my fucking hatred for this place... 2nite i went there to get the haynes manual, and ON THE DOOR IT SAYS THE HOURS: Weekdays - 7:30am to 9pm

so i showed up at 8:55pm EXACT eastern standard time (i know this b/c my cell phone tells me the time based on the satellite, i cant change it or anyhting ad it doesnt display time when i have no service)...

so point is, there were 3 guys inside sitting around talking and i went up to the door... locked...

so i knocked politley and pointed to my watch.. and they just looked at me and then turned around and kept talking... hoyl shit i want to kill them i had 5 min left..... ARGH

PureNordicPower NEVER!!! NEVER SELL OUT TO THE SURPISINGLY POWERFUL 2.0L TURBO!!
05-17-2005 04:10 PM
Logan Leslie yeah but at that point you really have to ask yourself why you don't just man up and buy a turbo...
05-17-2005 03:35 PM
iwantaviggen haha i think they sell a speaker that sounds like a BOV for n/a cars.... hahhahaha
05-17-2005 01:50 PM
danthegolfer yeah thats what i told him, but he disagreed o well... atleast i was right about something!!
05-17-2005 01:47 PM
Logan Leslie Dan, blow off valves are only for turbos, because turbochargers pressurize the intake charge. All you can really do on your NA is just buy a new intake system....

uhhh. blow off valves are for turbos. n/as dont need them cause there is no excess pressure to release

PureNordicPower Yeah I can drive my dads turbo saab, but I cant work on it or mess with it at all because its on a lease.Or else I would have stripped off his SE /Viggen body kit and put it on mine
05-16-2005 09:07 PM
Logan Leslie a BOV is a blow off valve. Its what lets off the pressure from the turbo when you lift on the accelerator pedal. Some make fun pssstt noises
05-16-2005 09:01 PM

05-16-2005 08:57 PM
