PureNordicPower My dad's turbo 9-3 is what made me want a saab for my first car. Then the go ahead and pull out the only saab in the world that isn't turbo. W/e its faster then the civics.

rcmdesign It's a light pressure turbo kit...
05-17-2005 07:35 PM
Logan Leslie Sounds like you're starting to see the light purenordic...
05-17-2005 07:30 PM
PureNordicPower If you really had the money,(prolly the price fo your whole car) you could get everythign redone and have a nice turbo system on the 2.3 that would own.

Logan Leslie Well thats what you sould do anyway. it was probably that the compression was too high for forced induction... If they're literally weak you probably shouldn't be trying to make power with them...

PureNordicPower I heard that the engine on our N/A wasn't reiforced enough to goto turbo. If you really want to be a selllout dan, you might as well sell your car and buy a turbo

rcmdesign I know of a guy who is selling a turbo kit for the N/A cars. I am not sure of the cost, 2 grand or so. But apparently the transmission doesn't hold up too well....

Logan Leslie On a turbo thats an exhaust manifold though. Guarantee any used saab turbo mani is cheaper then a custom header for an NA. More power when you add the turbo too...
05-17-2005 05:57 PM
rcmdesign Get rid of the headers? Turbo charged models have headers also, they are just designed differently to attach to a turbo...
05-17-2005 05:30 PM
Logan Leslie cough buy a turbo... get rid of the headers...
05-17-2005 05:27 PM

05-16-2005 04:36 PM
