danthegolfer ive got my stock 98 900s up to 125-130ish, but after that i had to slow down for traffic... it was flat and i was about 4600 rpms if i remember creectly so i had alot more to go!

saabguy i got my totally stock 97 900s n/a up to 135ish, it didn't want to do much after that, this was on level ground too

ricot83 actually i forgot to say the rest of the story.. everyone was fine it seemed he blew his headgasket or something, he lost compression in one cylinder completely and i think the tear down was to begin today

Well hope your friend is ok

People always seem to think just because it looks like the family car it'll never top 80.
Saabs may look domesticated but I dont think they've had their shots yet.

ng900 I've discovered that even people who know a lot about cars frequently still don't know that much about Saabs. Two of my friends, one a master mechanic, the other an experienced tinkerer/upgrader both assured me that I couldn't top 120. I hit 130 on the expressway on 2 different occasions.

ricot83 I have a turbo and hit 130mph this weekend, i htought a friend of mine totalled their car about a 1/2mile back so i had to get to the next highway exit and back as fast as possible... i was scared i lost another friend to car shit

Boxerchip jesus man... I hit 120 daily.... just try it... see how fast you can go but I did not tell you that and I dont really think you should do it.

iwantaviggen i belive they are gorverned at 150 after that they shut off... i've taken my '00 9-3 to 135-140....

Max out?

I was talking to a guy at work, who has a good deal of knowledge about cars.
He said that my car would max out and start shutting down at 125 mph. Is this true for a stock Ng900-NA?

What is the max out for a NG900-NA?
