rcmdesign I have contacted Jak, he does custom ECU reprogramming for the N/A. I already mentioned that above I thought...

EDIT: It was in another topic...

jrbrangi I know Frank at SQR has done things with the N/A but Im not sure any for sale. Contact Jak at and ask him, he is a SQR reseller, and they may be able to come up with something.

rcmdesign I remember that age, when I couldn't upgrade my car either. Anything that made it go faster or look nicer was a no-no...
05-16-2005 03:06 PM
danthegolfer yea im one of the NA people in the market for upgrades but my only problem is the $$$ (im 17 for crying out loud) and the other factor is my parents rnt into the whole car upgrading dealie... but id look into it

rcmdesign Indeed that's what I said...

PureNordicPower 25 Hp would be reasonable for 490 dollars. 15hp doesn't seem that much worth it.

citronxbeige im interested if i have the money. i would love an ecu upgrade for my n/a

rcmdesign Taliaferro is going to offer N/A ECU upgrades? I doubt it...No one seems to be in the market for N/A parts and service...There's just so few of us without turbos I emailed PowerChip also with the title Matt Goebel group buy like you said to do and I haven't heard from them, although I just emailed it Friday....We'll see...

trioptimum Powerchip won't return my emails anymore... Weird. I emailed them directly and from their site, checked my spam filters... must be ignoring me. I had talked with them allot back when we had the group buy going, they were very responsive. Too bad; I'll porbably be going with whatever taliaferro offers then.

BTW, powerchip had offered me the 10% off or free warranty without the group buy, 'but only if you buy today' :P. That made me think they could've done better for the group buy in the first place.

I was ready to buy one from them 2 weeks ago, but then my car started having these weird problems every week, I could've bought 2 ECU's by now ><. *sigh*

rcmdesign The only company I know of is Powerchip. Which will take you from 150HP to 165HP. And it's $490 for only 15 more HP. We had a group buy discount awhile back so I emailed them to see if I could still get that discount, it was only like 10% off...I might try PowerChip this summer....But it's a lot of dough...Guess that comes with every ECU upgrade...

stevehayes01 There is not much available for your car unfortunatley but you can try Powerchips, Jet Performance and a few companies like that but I doubt you will find much. Sorry.
