I've been waiting for time to cut the old cat out. I've just been super busy. I want to remove the old Cat intact, to see if it is indeed the culprit of my performance issues.
I'll post here the moment I get the old cat off and the new one on.

One of the unfortunate by-products of radical green folks mixing legitimate science with radical junk science that labels carbon as a pollutant to support their redistribution ideology is that people get jaded, and real measures that are suported by real verifiable science that really do work get lumped in with nonsense.

The Cleanest of The Dirty: Ebay "Race" Cats
So, I am 80% sure I have partially plugged my cat after 6 years of tuning (mistakes) w/m, and short-trip driving. Are ebay 3" cats even worth their ~$50-$100? Does anyone have experience with these things?
I believe I have one already on there...was a jakstol pipe that I bought 3rd hand. It worked for a long time. I know it is not smog certified yada yada. I live in MA not Cali. Is there a reputable brand or are they all ultimately the same Chinese crap made with recycled porcelain?
