also have a Stock older t3 manifold

For my current build I bought sas custom manifold cut off the t25 put a t3 flange
and also fabricated a ewg port

Jeffcentola how will i modify the stock air box to 3"to fit the holset?
03-10-2014 07:53 PM
Jeffcentola ill invest eventually. and connecticut why do you ask?

mike d yes, chassis bracing does help a lot, ng's have a disproportionately loose chassis for there power level.

jeff, what state are you in?
03-07-2014 08:40 AM
Jeffcentola will the 6 point brace really make a difference? but ya im going to go with a genuine saab lowering kit.

sha-d A/F gauge, stiffer suspension, rescue kit, 6point, steel brake lines

Jeffcentola as of right now these are the parts i need for my holset build. clutch,3" exhaust, jzw tune, 3 bar map sensor, custom t3 manifold, slim fan, fuel pump, and injectors. does it sound like im missing anything?

Jeffcentola i talked to jzw earlier today awesome guy helped me know what parts i need. i actually found a guy in my state thatll make a manifold but im still open to other options

mike9000aero Def call jzw he will set you up with anything you need... and if he doesn't have it genuine saab has some awesome stuff as well

VWSAABVT talk to jzw, he probably has a lot of the info you need and can get a lot of the parts you need.

Jeffcentola ive tried to contact vigge because i was told he makes or knows who makes custom t3 manifolds for a hx-35 but he hasnt been on this site since 2012... anyone know who can fabricate a manifold for me?
03-05-2014 11:40 AM
mike d most things that plumbing related need atleast a little customization to fit. some things need a lot.

you can use an early 9000 T3 manifold, but it needs a spacer, and it is not an equal length, although it works it will create a little extra lag over a decent custom header.

yes, you will need a slim fan

also, you may want to consider some sort of in person tuning option, no two holset cars are alike,

Holset hx-35 build

First time on this forum I have a 1997 saab 900se. I eventually plan on a hx-35 build. When it comes down to it what do i need besides a 3" exhaust, tune and bigger injectors? Do I need a custom manifold or make any other adjustments to allow this big turbo to fit and run properly. Any input or advice would help as im new to building saabs.
