It helps when you get a whole car for $600 and have done all the work on it for the last 4 years!

|NickTurbo900||Flip up the rear seat and have someone else crank it. You'll hear it! Fuel pumps like to fail around 120-150k IME. I have a good used assembly with a recent walbro insert in it for sale in the classifieds. 75$!|

|gdc||just a thought , I dont have one 9-5 3.0 but , if you tried to jump and it wont start than either your battery is really really dead or it is not the problem , however my DI went out on my ng 900 and it would not start at all , even after multiple jump attempts and battery charging which it didnt need , then i borrowed a DI and wham car started right up . Now i carry a spare DI in the trunk for such occasions , these are known to go and to go out suddenly or start missing and then fail suddenly|

|oliversexpedition||Headlights getting dim, check alternator output. If the battery is old, replace it. Borrow a DI and see if that solves the problem.|

1999 9-5 issues please help.
So my buddy bought this car awhile ago and it ran great but we noticed that when it would start to get really warmed up that it would start cutting out kinda like someone driving a stick for the first time and shifting horribly. So we went ahead and replaced the CPS on it. Car was running good for awhile then the headlightes started to get really dim not sure if this matters for the issue thought I would add it though. Now it wont turn over at all. We had also replaced the FPR also. So Im trying to decide if its the Fuel pump thats the issues or if its the DI casset just might be bad now. BTW this is the 3.0 Turbo. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be?
