DrewP You have to put it all the way together with the timing belt and tensioner, then remove the cam locks once everything is snugged down.

Rear Heads: Cams Want To Flip While Aligning

Just did the head gaskets on my 2002 SAAB 9/5 3.0T. Putting the belt back on and placing the cam lock tool in place. The front heads lined up without a fuss but when aligning the rear head the cams do not want to stay in place when I try to line them up the cams want to flip. Can someone help me with this issue? I am sure I have gotten everything in order. Is this normal? Thanks!
