secret ingredient I had my ng900 sitting for a couple months like you went I left it for my time at fort benning, all I did was add some stabil to the tank and check for leaks/mice when I came back. Didn't seem to affect it.

Harvey's Autohaus The waste gate flaps rusts closed from sitting, A lot. With a cold engine work the flap back & forth. I just pry it open & just let it snap back a few times. chances are your waste gate pivot is just rusty from sitting if it was fine when you parked it & overboosting now

StoneSilver Brakes are all good again

But this over boosting thing is crazy it goes from nothing to 30psi so fast I can't even control it. It will boost super high and then wont get over 5psi until I turn the car off and back on. Really thinking i should just try a new BPC

mike saunders Check that the WG hose didn't develop a crack....

...and you might have some deposits on the rotors than need to be burned off. Do some hard braking sessions in a safe place (empty parking lot, etc...)

StoneSilver fuck, well just got home like 2 hours ago and went and got my car from my unit
Over-boosted like crazy, assuming i need a new BPC
and when I braked the pedal was vibrating like crazy

StoneSilver Thanks Mike
I didn't think anything major would need to be done, especially since its been in a garage.
Hopefully I dont run into any surprises when I get home.

mike saunders Three months shouldn't be an issue. Mice are worth worrying about, though. Check the hoses to make sure nothing has gnawed them, look for any clumps of leaves in the airbox or fender well. Shine a light down the tailpipe to see if there are any nests, add a little Techron to the tank and call it good.

...and thanks for your service....

After 3 Months of Sitting

So I left for Boot Camp in May and my car has just been sitting on jacks since in my storage unit
In 2 weeks I'm going back home to pick it up and bring it back to my base 3 hours away
I know to do an Oil Change and check all fluids and shit but Anything else I should do/look out for before driving back?

thanks much
