They did send me Glyco rod bearings... At least lol. Main bearings do not take nearly as much stress or thrust forces and load. I just do not want to do this build and end up saying something like, "well I should have know better or done more research." My buddy used them in his VW, but for stock application. I guess as long as oil clearances are correct I should be fine... Thanks!

NPR VS Glyco bearings.

Hey! Quick question. I ordered most of my parts for my next build on Eeuroparts over the 4th of July to save a little cash, anyways. I ordered a set of standard Main and rod bearings, Glyco (already miced my crank and bore gauged my main line as well as my big ends with good oil clearances). I got all my parts in great condition! But, the main bearings are NPR, I have heard of them and actually used them once, but never on a Saab. Does anyone have experience with them? I would not like to have to send them back, they look pretty good... But I ordered Glyco because I have always used them and they are OEM... Thanks for the input in advance!
